Our staff are understanding and trained to meet your special requirements. Our state-of-the-art mini coaches incorporate access for everyone. Hydraulic lifts assist passengers to board and disembark our vehicles. great for parents with prams, passengers with walking frames or wheelchairs and the lift is also popular with passengers who find it difficult to climb steps.
We want to ensure that we offer a consistently high standard of service to our customers and that as many people as possible are able to make use of our services. We pride ourselves in having the most accessible mini-coaches in the area.
Powered Chairlift
Access for wheelchair travelling passengers is via a hydraulic chairlift, situated at the back of the bus which rises smoothly and safely up to the floor level controlled by the operator via a remote control handset.
Once on the bus, the operator will secure the wheelchair to the floor tracks using the latest safety clamps and then the passenger safely and securely uses the same three-point seat belt as other customers.
Mini-coaches can be supplied for all types of one off and mutliple hires. The vehicles are equipped with floor tracking in order that the wheelchairs can be secure for the duration of the journey.
Please check with us before booking to ensure that your wheelchair is compatible with the clamping mechanisms fitted to our vehicles.
It is important to note that when adapting a vehicle to meet the needs of passengers travelling in their wheelchairs, the number of available seats will be reduced.
